Tibetan Unicode enabling Mac OS-X
Mac OS-X introduced Tibetan Unicode support with OS-X version 10.5.
To install a Tibetan keyboard, check Tibetan Input Method for Mac OS-X.
Mac OS-X already contains two Tibetan Unicode fonts.
Font incompatibilities with Windows and Linux
Unfortunately OS-X currently still uses a different way to render scripts, so that many existing Tibetan Unicode fonts do not render correctly on Mac OS-X. OS-X 10.5 supports Wylie and other Tibetan input methods.
A description of how Mac Tibetan fonts work on Mac and Windows can be found here: Platform Independent Tibetan Unicode Font.
